Summer’s almost gone. This is what I’ve been up to: painting, printing, running around. Too much to write in too little time. To sum it up I just finished a 911 mural in this scary old church for the NY State Museum up in Albany. I did a 911 memorial piece for SEIU 32 BJ. I cut a ruby for IVAW that Kevin kindly printed for me. I took my meds. I saw a flying bulldog. I painted some glass for a club in Manhattan. And then school started and all hell broke loose. See ya soon!
There was a write up about the piece Voke, Mode, and I did in Bushwick.

As you may already know KASE 2 passed a few days back after a struggle with cancer. I didn’t know KASE personally but was introduced to him, his style, and his one liners in the Graffiti documentary STYLE WARS. There’s a nice write up on KASE 2 here. Rest in Peace to the “King of Styyylle”
Hot Damn! I made it to the NY Times. See the rest here http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/07/nyregion/hudson-river-valley-draws-brooklynites.html?_r=2&hp
In the Albany Yards we ran into the legendary HOT MOP comin’ off a southbound train.
HOT MOP is known amongst fellow travelers for his knowledge of RR medicinals, astrology, fancy handwriting, and impromptu storytelling.
